Huduma Kenya is the one-stop-shop programme launched in 2013 to reduce the number of counters a citizen must visit to complete a government transaction. In 2026, more than 50 Huduma Centres host desks from over 30 agencies. This directory lists what each agency can do at Huduma, so you can plan whether the trip covers your errand or whether you still need to visit the agency headquarters.

FAQ
How many Huduma Centres are there in Kenya?
Huduma Kenya operates 50-plus centres nationally, at least one per county, with major urban centres (Nairobi GPO, Nairobi Teleposta, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret) offering the widest range of services. Rural centres offer a core subset focused on ID, birth registration, and Huduma-only services.
Do I need to book in advance?
Most Huduma services accept walk-ins. Some high-demand services (passport biometrics, DCI fingerprinting) may require an eCitizen-booked appointment. Check the specific service before travelling.
Can I pay at the centre?
Yes. M-PESA paybill 191919 for Huduma's own fees, or eCitizen paybill 222222 for agency service fees. Cash and card are accepted at most centres for smaller amounts.
Are Huduma services free?
The service delivery through the centre is free (no premium for using Huduma vs the agency office). The underlying government fees still apply where the service is a paid one.
