Fuel, gas and cards
Frequently asked
Is there a national fuel paybill in Kenya?
No. Forecourts are usually dealer-operated, so each station takes payment on its own Buy Goods till.
What is the Rubis card paybill?
485111, with your card serial number (beginning 65000) as the account.
Is 485111 the K-Gas paybill?
No. It is the Rubis fuel-card top-up paybill. The account it takes is a card serial, which a gas cylinder does not have.
What is the K-Gas paybill?
We do not publish one, because we could not confirm a brand gas paybill against a brand’s own site. Order through the brand or a delivery partner.
Does paying for fuel by M-PESA cost me anything?
Yes, unusually. Buy Goods is normally free to the customer, but at fuel stations the customer bears the charge.
What cooking gas cylinder sizes are sold in Kenya?
6kg, 13kg, 35kg and 50kg. The 13kg is the standard household size.
