paybillke (“we”, “us”, “paybillke”) operates paybillke.com. This page describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

Information we collect

  • Analytics: Anonymised page-view data via Google Analytics 4 (IP anonymisation enabled). Used to understand which paybills are most searched and improve site performance.
  • Subscriptions: Email addresses (or WhatsApp phone numbers, with consent) for paybill change alerts. Stored in our newsletter provider. Used only for alerts you opted in to.
  • Reports: Information you provide via the “Report incorrect info” form. Used only to investigate and correct paybill data.

What we don't collect

  • Your M-Pesa PIN, phone PIN, or any payment credential.
  • Your transaction history.
  • Your bank account or card details.
  • Sensitive personal data without explicit consent.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and anonymised analytics. We do not run advertising trackers that profile you across the web. Display ads (when present) are non-personalised.

Your rights

  • Request a copy of your data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time (one tap from any email or WhatsApp message).
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
