What changed on paybillke

Site-wide changes, newest first. A correction to one paybill is shown on that paybill's own page with the date it was last checked. See how we verify for the method.

  1. KCB Lipa Karo corrected, and every byline is a real writer

    • KCB school fees: KCB's own Lipa Karo instructions use paybill 522533 with the school's till number, # and the student's details. Our KCB and school fees pages now say the same. A second number we listed for Lipa Karo is gone.
    • Paybill numbers we could not confirm with the organisation are no longer printed in guides. Where public listings disagree, the page now says so and tells you to confirm before paying.
    • Some hub pages carried the names of writers who are not on our team. Each now names the paybillke writer responsible for that subject.
  2. Every guide reachable, calculators you can share

    • Every live guide is now listed on a topic page, so none is more than two clicks from the guides index.
    • Calculator inputs have proper labels, results are read out by screen readers, and the address bar keeps your numbers so you can share a result.
    • Fewer font files load on each page.
    • The About and Contact pages describe themselves to search engines.
    • This page started.
  3. Paybill titles say what we checked

    • A paybill page title says Verified only when the record is fully verified, and shows the year of its last check.
    • Till numbers are called till numbers.
    • Pages for organisations with no paybill now say so in the title.
    • The homepage and verification page now promise only what we do: every paybill page shows the date of its last check.
    • Sponsors get a Sponsor label. Sponsorship never buys verification or a higher position.
  4. Clearer search previews

    • Guides and calculators have their own preview image and image description when shared.
    • Page descriptions end on a whole sentence instead of being cut mid word.
