How to pay on KWSPay

  1. Go to kwspay.ecitizen.go.ke and log in with your eCitizen account.
  2. Choose the park, the date and the number of people in each category.
  3. Add your vehicle and any activities, such as camping or cycling.
  4. Pay by M-PESA or card. Check the total first: KWS announced a 5% gateway fee when KWSPay launched, and cards can carry bank charges.
  5. Download the ticket and keep it on your phone. You can search for it again on KWSPay if you lose it.

The court case over the 2025 fees

The higher fees took effect on 1 October 2025. Days later the High Court suspended them on a petition by the Kenya Tourism Federation (The Star). In November 2025 the federation said KWSPay was still charging the new rates (Capital FM). We found no final judgment as of 28 October 2026. In practice, you pay what KWSPay shows. We will update this page if the court rules.
