How to buy, step by step
- Open tickets.footballkenya.org and pick the match. Check the address bar: it should be footballkenya.org, nothing else.
- Choose how many Regular or VIP tickets you want. One ticket admits one person.
- Enter your M-PESA number. The payment prompt and the tickets both go to this number, so use the phone you will carry to the stadium. An email address is optional, for a copy.
- Tap Pay. An M-PESA prompt appears on your phone. Check the amount, then enter your PIN.
- The tickets show on screen straight away and arrive by SMS on Kenyan numbers.
- At the gate, show the QR code. Each code is scanned once.
Gate sales and getting in
The FKF event page for the South Africa match says FKF agents also sell tickets at the gate on match day. Do not rely on it for a big match: for the Gambia qualifier in September 2025, the KES 300 tier had sold out two days before kickoff. If you can buy online, do.
During CHAN 2024 in August 2025, crowd trouble at Kasarani led CAF to fine Kenya USD 50,000 and to ban paper tickets. Since then, expect e-tickets only, early gates and searches. Leave vuvuzelas, bottles, cooler boxes and large bags at home; those were banned at Kasarani for CHAN.

Fake ticket sites
Before the Gambia match in September 2025, FKF warned that fake ticket sites were asking fans to pay to till numbers. The official site does not ask you to type in a paybill or till: it sends the M-PESA prompt to your phone, and the name on the prompt should be the ticket seller, not a person. If a link came from a WhatsApp group, type the address yourself instead. More on the tricks in M-PESA scams in 2026.
