Two pages go deeper: Bayern vs Ajax tickets and Harambee Stars tickets.

How paying for a ticket works

  1. Open the ticket site the organiser named. Type the address yourself rather than tapping a link from a group chat.
  2. Pick the match and the number of tickets. Each ticket is for one person.
  3. Enter your M-PESA number. Use the phone you will carry to the venue, because the ticket goes there.
  4. An M-PESA prompt appears on your phone. Before you enter your PIN, check the amount and the business name. It should be the ticket company or the organiser, not a person's name.
  5. The ticket arrives by SMS, email or both, as a QR code. Keep the M-PESA message too.

Football

Harambee Stars

National team matches are sold on the Football Kenya Federation's own site, tickets.footballkenya.org, paid by M-PESA prompt and delivered by SMS. For the November 2026 matches the site says FKF agents also sell at the gate. Recent prices have run from KES 200 to KES 500 for regular seats and KES 1,000 to KES 2,000 for VIP, with VVIP at KES 5,000 for the September 2025 World Cup qualifiers. Full details in how to buy Harambee Stars tickets.

FKF Premier League clubs

League matches are sold by the home club, and clubs have used different platforms: FKF's site, Tikiti and Langopass have all sold Gor Mahia or Tusker matches in the last two seasons. Check the home club's official pages for the link for that match.

  • Gor Mahia season tickets (2026-27): KES 4,080 regular, KES 13,600 VIP and KES 40,800 VVIP, covering 17 home games, according to Citizen Digital on 17 September 2026.
  • Mashemeji derby (Gor Mahia v AFC Leopards): reports on the April 2026 derby at Nyayo disagree. K24 listed early bird KES 300, advance KES 500, gate KES 1,000 and VIP KES 2,000, while Radio Generation reported KES 300 and KES 1,000. What both agree on: the cheapest tickets go first. For the June 2025 derby in Homa Bay, Tikiti sold tickets online and by USSD on *519*55#, with no tickets at the gate. No date has been set for the 2026-27 derby.

CAF club matches

Expect online only. For Gor Mahia v Pyramids in the CAF Champions League on 6 September 2026, tickets were KES 300 regular, KES 1,500 VIP, KES 3,000 VVIP and KES 10,000 for 30 presidential area seats, sold only on Langopass, with no matchday sales “as per CAF regulations”, according to Pulse Sports.

AFCON 2027 and CHAN

AFCON 2027 starts on 19 June 2027 across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. As of October 2026 CAF's own page still listed host cities and stadiums as unconfirmed, although Ajax describes the new Raila Odinga stadium as an AFCON venue. No ticket sale date, prices or platform had been announced. For a guide to what it may look like: at CHAN 2024 in August 2025, CAF sold tickets online only through Mookh at KES 200, KES 500 and KES 1,000 at Kasarani, according to Nairobi Leo. After crowd trouble, CAF banned paper tickets and capped the stadium.

Rugby

  • Safari Sevens: the 2025 edition at Nyayo was sold on TikoHub. Regular day tickets were KES 300 early bird, KES 500 in advance and KES 750 at the gate, with a KES 1,000 season pass; VIP ran from KES 2,000 to KES 3,000 a day or KES 5,000 for the season, according to Pulse Sports citing the Kenya Rugby Union.
  • World Rugby SVNS 2, Nairobi: in February 2026 early bird tickets started at KES 300 (HapaKenya). Regular tickets were KES 500 online through TikoHub and KES 750 at the gate, and they sold out after KRU capped attendance at 12,000 a day. Group “Mbogi” tickets cost KES 2,100 for 7 people and KES 3,600 for 12 (The Star). Nairobi is set to host again in January 2027.

Golf: Magical Kenya Open

The tournament sells its own tickets. For 2026 the official ticket page listed Thursday KES 1,000, Friday KES 1,500, Saturday and Sunday KES 2,500 each, and a four-day season pass at KES 6,000. Junior Golf Foundation card holders get in free. The 2027 edition is 18 to 21 February at Karen Country Club; prices are not out yet.

Athletics

The Kip Keino Classic was free to watch in 2026 (Nyayo, 24 April), according to the meet director quoted by Mozzart Sport. The 2025 edition, the first with paid entry, charged KES 200 regular and KES 2,000 VIP (Mozzart Sport).

Horse racing

  • Horse racing: the Kenyatta Cup at Ngong Racecourse on 11 October 2026 was sold on Tikiti from KES 100. Student tickets needed a physical student ID.

Postponements and refunds

Each seller sets its own rules, so read them before you pay. As an example, Tikiti's refund policy says tickets stay valid if an event is postponed; you can ask for a refund only within 7 working days of the announcement; refunds go back to the original payment method minus transaction fees; and they can take up to 30 working days. Tickets bought through resale are not covered.

Fake tickets: how fans lose money

  • Paying a till or paybill from a chat. Official sites send an M-PESA prompt to your phone. FKF has warned that fake ticket sites ask fans to key in a till number by hand.
  • Screenshot tickets. A QR code is valid once. During CHAN 2024, fans holding fake or duplicated passes were turned away at Kasarani.
  • Tickets before the sale opens. For Bayern v Ajax, nothing sold before 5 November 2026 comes from the organisers.
  • Posting your ticket online. Anyone with a clear photo of your QR code can get in ahead of you.
