Dual-SIM phones

*334# is the Airtel Money code on Airtel and the M-PESA code on Safaricom. Same code, different service, chosen by the SIM. If you have both SIMs in one phone, select the Airtel SIM in the USSD dialler before pressing send, or you will end up in the wrong wallet.

USSD not responding

Check Airtel network signal. USSD needs a signal even when data is off.
Restart the phone.
On dual-SIM, confirm you selected the Airtel SIM.
If *334# returns "Service unavailable", retry in 30 seconds. Persistent failures: call 100.
