Airtel Money and Equity Bank: Send and Receive Both Ways

Send from Airtel Money to Equity via *334# Bank option. Pull from Equity via Equity app or USSD. Charges follow the to-bank bands.

To send from Airtel Money to Equity, dial *334#, choose the Bank option, select Equity, enter your Equity account number and the amount, and confirm with your PIN. To pull money from Equity into Airtel Money, use Equity's own app or USSD to send to your Airtel number, or the Equity paybill route. Charges follow the to-bank bands.

Airtel Money and Equity Bank, both directions. Airtel's published tariff, effective 1 January 2023. Charges are the same whichever bank you use; only the steps differ.

Airtel Money to Equity

  1. Dial *334#, choose the Bank option.
  2. Select Equity.
  3. Enter your Equity account number and the amount.
  4. Confirm with your Airtel Money PIN.

Equity to Airtel Money

Use the Equity Mobile app or Equitel USSD (*247#) to send to your Airtel number. Alternatively, send from Equity to the Airtel deposit paybill with your Airtel number as the account.

For pulling money from Equity, the app or Equitel USSD is easiest.

Any charge?

To-bank charges apply per band on both directions.

What if the money doesn't arrive?

Keep the transaction code from both sides and call Equity on 0763 000 000 or Airtel on 100.
