You set your 4-digit Airtel Money PIN the first time you dial *334# after registering, along with a security question. To change it later, go to My Account on *334#. If you have forgotten it, your security question is what lets you reset it, and if you are locked out you can call Airtel on 100 or 0733 100 000. Airtel will never ask you to reveal your PIN: anyone who does is a fraudster.
Set your PIN (first time)
After the registration SMS lands, dial *334#. You are prompted to set a 4-digit PIN and choose a security question. Pick a PIN that is not your birth year or 1234, and a security answer only you know.
Change your PIN
Dial *334# → My Account → PIN option → enter your current PIN → set the new one twice.
Reset a forgotten PIN
Use the security question you set at registration to reset the PIN through the menu. If that fails or your line is locked after wrong entries, call 100 or 0733 100 000 for help, and be ready to confirm your identity. Never send your ID or PIN to anyone over WhatsApp who claims to be Airtel.
