You can pay your water bill straight from Airtel Money. Dial *334#, choose Paybill and Till Payments, enter your water company's paybill number, put your water account number as the account, enter the amount, and confirm with your Airtel Money PIN. It works for Nairobi Water (NCWSC) and the county water companies: each of which has its own paybill on your latest bill.
Step by step
- Dial *334#. On your Airtel line, dial *334#.
- Paybill and Till Payments. Select Paybill and Till Payments.
- Water company paybill. Enter your water company's paybill number (printed on your latest bill).
- Account number. Enter your water account number exactly as printed on your bill.
- Amount + PIN. Enter the amount, then your Airtel Money PIN. Keep the confirmation SMS.
Good to know
Use the account number exactly as it appears on your bill: that is how the payment attaches to your meter. Keep the confirmation SMS. If the bill does not update within 24 hours, contact your water company with the transaction code.
