How to pay and unlock your unit

1. Open M-PESA, or dial *334#.
2. Choose Lipa na M-PESA, then Pay Bill.
3. Enter business number 323458.
4. Enter your Sun King account ID as the account.
5. Enter the amount, your PIN, and confirm.
6. Paying tops up your unlock period. If you stop paying the unit locks until you pay again; finishing the plan unlocks it permanently.

A note on the paybill number

You will find 323456 published in several places online. That number is wrong. The correct Sun King paybill is 323458, confirmed against Sun King's own published payment guide and the Safaricom in-app paybill directory. Two digits apart is exactly the kind of error that sends a month's solar payment to a stranger, so check the number on your own paperwork before you pay.

What EasyBuy actually is

EasyBuy is pay-as-you-go solar. You pay a deposit at an agent, take the system home, and pay instalments by M-PESA. Each payment buys unlock time. Miss payments and the system simply stops working until you pay; finish the plan and it is yours outright, permanently unlocked.

What happens if you stop paying
