OVEX in Kenya

By James Mwangi · Crypto hub

OVEX is an African crypto over-the-counter (OTC) desk, more oriented to larger trades and institutional-style flow than retail apps. For most Kenyan retail users it is not the first stop, but for larger trades where P2P depth is a constraint, it is worth knowing.

What it does

OTC pricing for larger tickets, spot exchange, and stablecoin-focused flows across Africa.

Where it fits

Larger buys and sells where you want a locked price rather than P2P negotiation. Sign up and confirm current Kenyan flow support.

Trade-offs

Not a beginner app. Fees and spreads are quote-based.
