How to pay Zuku Fibre with M-PESA

Use M-PESA paybill 320320 with your Zuku account number as the account. Reconnection is usually within about 15 minutes of the payment posting.

The steps

  1. Open M-PESA and choose Lipa na M-PESA, then Pay Bill.
  2. Business number: 320320.
  3. Account number: your Zuku account number, digits only.
  4. Enter the amount for your plan, then your M-PESA PIN, and confirm.
  5. Keep the confirmation SMS. It carries the transaction code, which is the only thing that lets anyone trace the payment later.

How long reconnection takes

Zuku states that payment posts and the account reconnects within about 15 minutes. If you paid late at night or over a weekend it can sit longer before it posts. The useful discipline is to wait the quarter of an hour with the router powered on before you start worrying, and to resist paying a second time, because two payments are harder to unpick than one that is merely slow.

Paying from Airtel Money or T-Kash

The same paybill works from the other wallets. Airtel Money and T-Kash both reach Kenyan paybills through interoperability, so 320320 with your account number is the instruction regardless of which wallet the money starts in. The wallet’s own sending tariff applies rather than M-PESA’s.
