Tingg Payment Links for Small Businesses
By David Wachira · Tingg hub · paybillke is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Tingg.
If you sell on WhatsApp, Instagram or by phone and have no website, Tingg payment links are the simplest way to get paid properly. You create a link, send it to the customer, and they open it to pay by card or mobile money.
How it works
In your Tingg account you generate a payment link, either for a fixed amount or open, and share it on WhatsApp, SMS or email. The customer taps it, lands on a secure Tingg page, chooses card or mobile money, and pays. You get notified, and the money is collected the same way as any Tingg payment.
Why it suits small businesses
There is no website to build, no code, and no shopfront needed. It turns a chat into a real, trackable payment, which beats asking customers to send to a personal number, and it gives you a record of every sale. It also lets you accept card from customers who do not use mobile money.
What it costs
The same Tingg Kenya rates apply, 1% on mobile money and 2.8% on cards, so a link paid by M-PESA costs you 1% of the amount.
