Tingg Developer Integration

Developers wire Tingg into a product through its developer portal, which holds the API reference and integration guides. The pattern is the same as any solid gateway: connect, handle results, test, then go live.

The integration flow

  1. Create a Tingg account and get your API credentials from the developer portal.
  2. Connect the checkout or the payments gateway to your site or app.
  3. Set a callback URL so Tingg posts each transaction result back to you.
  4. Test in the sandbox across card, mobile money and bank.
  5. Go live once every flow and callback is handled correctly.

Good practice

Confirm each payment by checking status, not just the first callback, secure your callback endpoint, and handle retries idempotently so a repeated callback never double-counts a payment. Build for all three method types so customers always have a choice.
