The 14-day cap, lost tickets, cardless system

  • 14-day maximum stay. KAPS may tow your vehicle after 14 days. For longer trips use a monitored off-airport long-stay lot or a transfer service.
  • Lost ticket fee is about KES 1,000 for a saloon. Show ID at the exit; they will process the lost-ticket fee and let you out.
  • Cardless system. JKIA is moving to a number-plate recognition (ANPR) system through 2026, so increasingly you pay by plate rather than by paper ticket. On ANPR lanes, enter your plate on *486*12#.
