How to Make Ksh 500 a Day Online in Kenya (Honestly)

By Josephine Njeri · Online jobs hub

Making Ksh 500 a day online in Kenya is realistic, but not instant and not from an app that promises it for free. It comes from real small work done consistently: short writing gigs, transcription, data entry, micro-tasks and surveys, or reselling and delivery on the side. Five hundred a day is roughly one solid writing article, a couple of hours of transcription, or a batch of micro-tasks, and it grows as your skill and ratings grow.

Honest ways to reach 500 a day

Freelance writing on a real platform, transcription and captioning, data entry and micro-tasks, paid surveys with genuine payout histories, and virtual assistant work. None pay 500 in your first hour, but all can reach it with practice, and they pay to a wallet you can move to M-PESA.

The one rule that protects you

A real job never asks you to pay a registration fee to start. The moment an app or a recruiter wants you to send money to a paybill or a personal number to unlock earnings, it is a scam. That single rule saves more money than any of these tasks will make you in a month.
