Data Entry Jobs Online in Kenya
By Josephine Njeri · Online jobs hub
Data entry is entering or cleaning data into sheets and systems, and it is one of the most searched online jobs in Kenya, which unfortunately also makes it one of the most scammed. Genuine data entry work exists on freelance and micro-task platforms and with real businesses, and it pays modestly per task or per hour to a wallet you can move to M-PESA.
How to start
Sharpen your basic spreadsheet skills, sign up on a real freelance or micro-task platform, and take small jobs to build a track record. It is simple work, so pay is modest, but it is steady once you are trusted.
The scam warning, loud
Most adverts promising high daily pay for simple data entry, especially those that ask for a registration fee or a deposit, are scams. Real data entry never charges you to start. If they want your money first, walk away.
