Who Owns Betika and Is It a Kenyan Company?
By Michael Mwangi · Betika hub
Betika is operated by Shop and Deliver Limited, a Kenyan company, licensed by the Gambling Regulatory Authority (the GRA, which replaced the BCLB) under the Gambling Control Act 2025. Its licence numbers are BK-0001117 and PG-0001113, and its offices are at Mayfair Business Centre, off Parklands Road in Nairobi. It launched in the mid-2010s and grew into one of the country's largest betting brands.
Why the licence matters
It means Betika operates under Kenyan gambling law, is subject to the regulator, and must meet payout and responsible-gambling obligations, which separates a licensed operator from an illegal site.
