Betika on *644#: bet without internet

Dial *644# on Safaricom to use Betika with no data or smartphone. The menu, headed "Betika Jukwaa la Mabingwa" when we dialled it on 25 October 2026, has seven options: 1 Place Bet, 2 Free Odds, 3 Download App, 4 Withdraw/Deposit, 5 Customer Care, 6 My account and 7 Live betting.

Place a bet

Choose 1 Place Bet. The next menu has Today's highlights, Upcoming football, Top leagues, Search football and Cancel bet, plus a way back to the main menu.

Deposit and withdraw

Choose 4 Withdraw/Deposit, then 1 Deposit or 2 Withdraw.

Deposit: follow the prompt, or pay paybill 290290 on M-PESA with your phone number as the account.

Withdraw: enter the amount. The minimum is KES 50, and the money goes to the number on your Betika account.

If the menu times out or changes

Sessions can time out on a weak network. If that happens, dial again. The menu numbers can change, so follow the words if they differ. Everything here also works on betika.com, Betika Lite, the app and SMS to 29090, all on one account. Set a limit before you start.
