SasaPay for Business: How to Sign Up and Collect

By David Wachira · SasaPay hub · paybillke is an independent guide and is not affiliated with SasaPay.

SasaPay Business turns the wallet into a full collection and payout tool for a company. It is designed so a shop, an SME or a large merchant can take money in, pay money out, and settle to the bank, all cheaply.

What you get

Quick payments, so customers pay you in one touch at a till or paybill. Bulk collections, so an institution can collect many payments at once. Bank deposits, to move wallet money to your bank. Issue loose change, so serving customers is effortless. Disbursements, both business to customer, for paying employees or refunds, and business to business, for paying suppliers.

How to sign up

  1. Download the SasaPay Business application form.
  2. Complete it and prepare the required KYC documents for your business.
  3. Submit everything to merchants@sasapay.co.ke.
  4. Once reviewed and approved, you receive merchant portal login details.

The cost angle

SasaPay's B2C tariff is low, free under KES 49 and only a few shillings up to KES 70,000, which is attractive for payroll and refunds at volume. Collections through tills and paybills are designed to be cost-effective too. Confirm your merchant rates during onboarding.

Who it suits

Any business that wants cheaper collections and payouts than the incumbents, from a small shop to a supermarket or fuel station, given SasaPay supports very high merchant balances.
