The SasaPay USSD Code *626#: Full Menu Explained

By David Wachira · SasaPay hub · paybillke is an independent guide and is not affiliated with SasaPay.

*626# is the SasaPay menu that works on any phone, smartphone or not, and without data. It matters because it means you can use your SasaPay wallet even when you have no internet or a basic handset. Dial *626#, pick the option you need, and confirm with your PIN.

What each option does

Send Money. Choose it, enter the recipient number and the amount, then your PIN. The recipient name shows before you confirm, or it flags an unregistered number, which still receives the money but must register to access it.

Withdraw. Enter the amount and the agent number, then your PIN, and the agent releases your cash while your wallet is debited.

Top Up. Load your wallet from a linked mobile money provider, or use the paybill route with 756756.

Transfer. Move money to a bank account or to another mobile money wallet like M-PESA or Airtel Money.

Account tools. Check your balance, get a mini statement, and manage your PIN.

Why use USSD over the app

USSD is instant, works on low-end phones, and does not eat data. Many people keep the app for a fuller view of transactions and use *626# for quick actions on the go. Both do the same core jobs, so it comes down to what is convenient at the moment.

Tips for smooth sessions

If the menu times out on a slow network, dial again rather than assuming it failed. Never enter your PIN on a session someone else started for you, and never share your PIN with a caller, because SasaPay never asks for it.
