Odibets does NOT have an app on Google Play or the iOS App Store (Google banned real-money betting apps from Play Kenya in 2018). To use Odibets on mobile: (1) visit odibets.co.ke in your phone browser, or (2) download the APK directly from odibets.co.ke/app (Android only).
Your three options
| Device | Options | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Android | APK or browser | odibets.co.ke/app (APK), or odibets.co.ke in Chrome |
| iPhone / iPad | Browser only | odibets.co.ke in Safari; Add to Home Screen for app-like feel |
| Feature phone | USSD only | Dial *290# on Safaricom |
Install the Odibets APK on Android
- Open Chrome on your Android phone.
- Go to odibets.co.ke/app.
- Tap the download button. The APK saves to your Downloads folder (about 3-5 MB).
- Android will show "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source." Tap Settings, and allow install from Chrome.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
- Once installed, go back to Settings, Apps, Special access, Install unknown apps, and toggle Chrome off again. This keeps future rogue APKs from installing.
- Open the Odibets app. Log in with your Safaricom number and 4-digit PIN.
iPhone: use Safari and Add to Home Screen
Odibets has no iOS app because Apple does not accept Kenyan real-money betting apps in the App Store. The mobile web at odibets.co.ke covers every feature you get in the Android app.
- Open Safari (not Chrome) on your iPhone.
- Go to odibets.co.ke and log in.
- Tap the Share button in Safari's toolbar.
- Choose Add to Home Screen.
- Name it "Odibets" and tap Add.
- The icon on your home screen opens Odibets in a full-screen, app-like view.
Feature phone: USSD *290# on Safaricom
No smartphone? Dial *290# on any Safaricom line. The Odibets USSD menu supports account access, deposit, withdrawal, and bet placement. No data, no app, no browser needed.
FAQ
Is the Odibets app on the Google Play Store?
No. Google removed real-money betting apps from the Kenyan Play Store in 2018 and has not re-admitted Kenyan betting operators. Odibets, like every licensed Kenyan operator, distributes its Android app as an APK downloaded directly from odibets.co.ke.
Is there an Odibets iPhone app?
No. Apple's App Store also does not carry Kenyan real-money betting apps. iPhone users access Odibets via the mobile web at odibets.co.ke in Safari. Add it to your Home Screen (Share menu, Add to Home Screen) and it behaves like a native app: full features including deposits, withdrawals, and jackpot entries.
Is the Odibets APK safe?
The APK on odibets.co.ke/app is the official Odibets Android build. Download only from that domain. APKs on third-party mirrors (apkpure clones, WhatsApp forwards, Telegram channels) are typically repackaged with adware or credential-stealing malware, do not install them.
Why does my phone block the Odibets APK install?
Android disables APK side-loading by default. Go to Settings, Apps, Special access, Install unknown apps, then pick Chrome and toggle Allow. Install the APK. Switch the permission off again afterwards.
How big is the Odibets APK?
The Odibets Android APK is typically 3 to 5 MB, small enough to install over a 3G connection.
What if the app crashes after install?
Uninstall and reinstall the latest APK from odibets.co.ke/app. Older Android versions (below 8.0) may no longer receive Odibets APK updates; in that case use the mobile web at odibets.co.ke instead.
