Dial *334# for all personal M-PESA services (send, withdraw, buy airtime, loans, savings). Dial *234# for Safaricom self-service (statement, balance, PIN change, bundles). Dial *234*1# for business till services. Everything else is a shortcut into these three trees.

5. M-PESA Info sub-menu (the statement path)
Dial *234# → 5 (M-PESA Info) → M-PESA Statement. Choose the period (mini, monthly, or custom range) and delivery (SMS mini or Email PDF). The full statement is emailed by the 5th of each month to your registered email.
The *234*1# menu tree (business till)
For registered Lipa na M-PESA merchants. Opens Till balance, till statement, till PIN change, agent commission, and Buy Goods reporting.

Tips
- Use
*144#, not the *334# balance option, to check balance. It is faster (one screen) and free. - Deep-link shortcuts save keystrokes.
*234*5#jumps straight to M-PESA Info without going through the *234# menu. - USSD sessions time out at 30 seconds of inactivity. Have the paybill number ready before you dial.
- USSD costs nothing to dial. The transaction fee is separate and only applies at PIN confirmation.
- Airtel and Telkom have different codes. Airtel Money is
*334#on Airtel lines. T-Kash is*334#on Telkom lines.
