DTB internet banking and the business digital stack

DTB internet banking lives at i247.diamondtrustbank.co.ke. You log in with a corporate code, a User ID and a password, and both the unlock and the password reset are self-service if you set security questions.

Locked out? Unlock yourself

  1. Go to the i24/7 login page and choose the option to unlock the user.
  2. Enter your corporate code, your User ID and your mobile number.
  3. Answer your security questions.
  4. Enter the OTP that is sent to you.
  5. On success, you get an email confirming the unlock.

Forgotten password

Same page, choose Forgot Password. You need the corporate code, the username and your mobile number in 254 format, which is the step that trips people up. Answer the security questions, enter the OTP, then set and confirm the new password.

Till Moja, for collecting M-PESA into a DTB account

Till Moja is DTB's collections service, which puts customer mobile-money payments straight into a DTB business account. If you are a business currently collecting on a personal M-PESA line or a till that settles somewhere else, this is the product to ask about, because collections landing directly in the bank account removes both the reconciliation work and the temptation to spend takings out of the wallet. Before entering credentials anywhere, get the correct link from DTB on 0719 031 888 rather than from a search result, because a payments product on an unfamiliar domain is exactly the pattern phishing imitates.

Never share a password, PIN or OTP

DTB will not ask for any of them. An OTP exists to prove you are you, so passing it to somebody else defeats the only thing it does. If anybody calls asking you to read one out, hang up and call DTB yourself on 0719 031 888.
