Option A: pay via USSD *476#
- Dial *476# from the SIM registered on your M-PESA account.
- Select the service from the menu (parking, business permit, land rates, market, and so on).
- Enter the reference the menu asks for (plate, permit number, plot).
- Enter the amount. USSD will read your account balance and show a confirmation.
- Enter your M-PESA PIN. You receive an SMS receipt from Safaricom plus a confirmation from Kiambu County.
Option B: pay via M-PESA paybill 4162022
- Open the M-PESA menu (M-PESA app or M-PESA SIM Toolkit).
- Select Lipa na M-PESA, then Pay Bill.
- Business number: 4162022.
- Account number: your reference for the service (see the lookup table below).
