Cashia's 2026 tariff in plain terms: deposit from M-PESA, Airtel or a Cashia agent is free, deposit by card is 3% local (3.6% international). Wallet-to-wallet fees top out at KES 60. PesaLink to your bank is capped at KES 100. Paying an M-PESA Till or Paybill from your Cashia wallet is the priciest customer action (up to KES 210). Confirm current bands on cashia.com/pricing.

Cash-in / Deposit

Free from M-PESA, Airtel Money or a Cashia agent. Local Visa or Mastercard: 3%. International cards: 3.6%.

Wallet transfers

Cashia-to-Cashia is consistently cheaper than Cashia-to-M-PESA or Cashia-to-Airtel, the classic closed-loop incentive. Fees top out at KES 60 across bands.

Paying merchants

Free on the smallest amounts to Cashia merchants. Paying an M-PESA Till or Paybill from the Cashia wallet ranges up to about KES 210 at the largest bands. Special Merchants have their own smaller tariff.

Agent withdrawals (KES 101+)

KES 25 for KES 101-2,500, then KES 60, KES 140, KES 200 and KES 250 as the amount rises to KES 150,000.

PesaLink to bank (KES 101+)

KES 20 for KES 101-499, KES 30 up to KES 5,000, KES 50 up to KES 200,000, KES 100 up to KES 999,000.

Merchant Hosted Checkout

Small amounts free for Cashia customers, KES 1-5 for non-Cashia; bands rise with amount. Card processing runs 3% local / 3.6% international.

B2C and B2B payments

B2C (business paying a consumer) is charged in bands; B2B (business paying a business) is charged in bands. Cashia-to-Cashia is cheaper than cross-network in every table.
