Java House and Artcaffe: how to pay, order and earn

Both take M-PESA on the outlet’s till or card at the counter, and both deliver through the aggregators rather than a chain call centre. Java House runs a loyalty app that earns roughly KES 2 per KES 100 spent; Artcaffe runs Artcaffe Rewards.
Java House
The largest local cafe chain. At the counter it takes M-PESA on the outlet till, Visa, Mastercard and Amex, and card payments run through Pesapal. For delivery it is on Uber Eats, Bolt Food and Glovo, and it has its own app.
The Java House Africa Loyalty app earns about KES 2 for every KES 100 spent, alongside buy-one-get-one offers and digital punch cards. At that rate loyalty is a modest rebate rather than a reason to choose the chain, which is worth being clear-eyed about: two percent back is two percent back.
Artcaffe
Neither has a paybill, and that is normal
The other chains follow the same pattern
