M-Shwari has no paybill and no till. It is an NCBA savings and loan account that lives inside the M-PESA menu, so there is nothing to key in. This page previously published "*234#" as a SEND MONEY number with a Copy button. A USSD code is not a number you can send money to.
How to pay instead
- Dial*334#
Safaricom's customer menu. Loans and Savings, then M-Shwari. First time, activate under My Account, Update menu.
- In the appM-PESA app
Same menu under Loans and Savings.
If someone has given you a paybill number for M-Shwari, it is not theirs. Numbers circulating for organisations in this position usually belong to an unrelated business, and money sent to the wrong paybill is the payer's loss to chase. What to do if you have already paid.
