Contact Bolt support straight away with your M-PESA transaction code. If you paid the wrong paybill entirely, call Safaricom customer care on 100 (prepay) or 200 (postpay) as soon as you can. The 456 self-reversal does not cover paybills, and the business has to agree before the money comes back, so a refund is not guaranteed.
How do I confirm my payment to Bolt went through?
M-Pesa sends a free SMS confirmation with a transaction code (e.g., ABC12DEF345). Save this code, it's your proof of payment. Bolt should also confirm receipt via their channels.
