DStv Kenya cuts to four packages from 5 November 2026

DStv Kenya announced on 26 October 2026 that it will replace its six packages with four from 5 November: Starter KES 750, Select KES 1,500, Sports KES 3,000 and Ultimate KES 7,300 a month. The paybill stays 444900.

What changed

  • Four packages replace six: DStv Starter at KES 750 a month (up to 116 channels), Select at KES 1,500 (up to 149), Sports at KES 3,000 (up to 159) and Ultimate at KES 7,300 (up to 180).
  • DStv Sports carries every Premier League match plus the Champions, Europa and Conference Leagues. Starter carries selected live matches on SuperSport KICKOFF.
  • The top package drops from KES 11,700 (Premium, our 13 September 2026 check) to KES 7,300 (Ultimate).
  • The same packages apply on satellite and DStv Stream.

Why it matters

M-PESA activates a DStv package only when you send its exact price. Until 4 November, pay the price of the package you are on now. From 5 November, pay the new price, or DStv will activate a smaller package or hold the money as credit.

What to do

  • Pay DStv on paybill 444900 with your smartcard number as the account, as before.
  • From 5 November 2026, send the new package price exactly.
  • GOtv has not yet published its new prices on its own site. Keep paying the current GOtv price until it does.
