Standard M-PESA paybill tariff applies. The 5% deposit excise is deducted before the money lands in your wallet, so KES 100 deposited reaches the wallet as KES 95.
How to withdraw from Helabet
In the Helabet app or website, tap My Account, then Withdraw, enter amount (minimum KES 100), confirm. Funds reach M-PESA within minutes. The 5% withdrawal tax applies. M-PESA per-transaction cap of KES 250,000 limits single withdrawals; daily M-PESA ceiling is KES 500,000 for fully-verified accounts. KYC verification (national ID upload) is required before higher tiers unlock.
When things break
- Deposit does not reflect after 5 minutes. Check the M-PESA SMS recipient name. Should read HELABET KENYA. If yes, contact Helabet live chat with the M-PESA transaction code. If no, scam paybill; ask Safaricom on 100 for a reversal (see how reversals work).
- Withdrawal stuck pending. Most process within minutes. Over 30 minutes is unusual; escalate via Helabet live chat with the in-app withdrawal reference number.
- Login fails. Use the in-app password reset. If your registered phone is lost, Helabet needs a national ID match via support.

My Helabet deposit has not reflected. What now?
Check the M-PESA SMS recipient name. It must read HELABET KENYA. If it shows any other name, you paid a scam paybill: call Safaricom on 100 with the M-PESA code and ask for a reversal. The 456 self-reversal only covers person-to-person sends. If the name is correct and 30 minutes have passed, contact Helabet live chat with the M-PESA transaction code and your registered phone number; they re-allocate within 24 hours.
Is Helabet legal in Kenya?
We could not confirm it. When we checked on 19 October 2026, Helabet's Kenyan site (helabetke.com) said it is licensed but showed no regulator name or licence number. GRA publishes no licence register, so ask GRA on its toll-free line 0800 723 770 before you deposit. 18+ only.
