How Hustler Fund pricing works

Hustler Fund charges 8% per annum, prorated to the days you hold the loan. So a KES 5,000 loan for 14 days costs about KES 15 in interest, dramatically cheaper than M-Shwari (KES 375) or Tala (KES 750+) for the same loan.

5% of the loan goes into a mandatory savings pot which earns 7% per annum. This is your money, but it is locked in a Hustler Fund account. The cash you receive in M-PESA is the loan amount minus this 5%.
